My lotion has WHAT in it?

Before a kind lady gently informed me that I may as well be wrapping my skin in plastic wrap as I applied my lotion, I was clueless.

Did you know that women apply as many as 515 different chemicals on their faces alone every day?  (Source)  In addition, these chemicals are absorbed directly into our bloodstream, without being filtered by the liver!   Are you concerned yet?

These chemicals can cause many health issues, including cancer!  So what can we do to know we are using quality skin care that will help us instead of giving us some kind of unwanted illness?

1.  Does it say “natural” on the bottle?

Unfortunately, “natural” is a marketing ploy which means almost nothing.  Companies want you to think that you are using something amazing, when in reality you may or may not be.  For example, deodorant is applied directly to the skin, yet some “natural” companies have aluminum in their deodorant.

2.  Where was the skincare made?

When you see the label “made in China” on your watch, does it make you think that the watch is high quality?  Just as a side note, I have friends who live in China and acquaintances who are from China.  Chinese people are brilliant and are real workers.  However, the product that comes to the US from China leaves much quality left to be desired, and this is a reflection of the companies that manufactured the product, not a reflection of the beautiful Chinese people.

3.  Does the company that made the skincare allow tours of the facility where it was made?

This may seem odd to you; however, if the factory is an undercover operation, does that give you peace of mind about what you are putting on your skin?  Oh, and yes, I did tour the factory that makes the skincare that I use.  This is what I had to wear.  Do you recognize me?

Here are some more pictures from the factory where my skincare is made:

4.  Does an independent company test the purity of the skin care?

Yes, someone can make a lotion or face cream and tell the world that it is the most amazing invention ever.  However, if someone else validates that, the creator has much more credibility.  For example, a product can claim to have a certain eye-catching ingredient (and even a picture of that ingredient on the front of the bottle).  However, the FDA does not require any company to be truthful in their ingredient list.

5.  Are you supporting your skin from the inside out?

Beauty is much deeper than the skin.  Our skin’s well being begins from within and does not just rely on what we apply to our face or hands.  In fact, our skin renews itself every 30 days; therefore, how our skin looks has much to do with what is deeper than the skin.

Did this list of questions start the wheels turning in your head?  The topic of skin care does not require hours and hours of research.  All of that has been done for you.

If you want to learn how to take care of your skin, let’s talk.  Email me here with the subject “skin care,” and I’ll respond soon to schedule a time to chat.

5 ways to avoid cancer http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/10/10/5-ways-to-avoid-cancer/ http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/10/10/5-ways-to-avoid-cancer/#respond Tue, 10 Oct 2017 23:21:08 +0000 http://www.healthywithluba.com/?p=1562 + Read More]]> 5 ways to avoid cancer - www.healthywithluba.com

Many are looking for a cure for cancer.  However, let’s take a look at how you can be proactive in avoiding cancer altogether.

Please note that I am very much aware that you will think of one or two loved ones in your life that have cancer now.  My intention is not to make anyone upset.  Cancer rates have skyrocketed in America.  While I am not a doctor (and if you have cancer, see a doctor), my intention is to educate you in this article.

1.  Avoid processed meats. (source)

The International Agency for Research on Cancer has identified processed meats as something that  causes cancer.  Processed meats include hot dogs, ham, bacon, sausage, and some deli meats.  Yes, in our fast-paced world, it’s easy to eat those types of meat.  However, is the risk of cancer worth it?  Consider eating more fresh fish and chicken instead.

2.  Avoid toxic personal care products such as shampoo and body wash.

No, I am not telling you not to take a shower!  Instead of using toxic personal care products, use those that are high quality and do not have “filler” ingredients to make them cheaper to manufacture.

You can read more about a company that was charged guilty of having cancer-causing chemicals in baby care products.  Please note that this company produces many other brands, such as Aveeno.

If you want to avoid cancer, you must stop putting cancer-causing chemicals on your body via shampoo, deodorant, and other personal care items.

3.  Avoid cancer-causing scented candles.  (source)

Yes, you read that right!  Scented candles release carcinogens into the air, and those toxins can cause cancer.

As someone who has not used candles in my home for at least three years, if I go into a store, I cannot walk past the candle without holding my breath.  Yes, it does not matter that the candles are not being burned. I can easily get a headache from those toxins.  Whether or not you get a headache, these candles are not good for you.

If you want your home or office to smell good, I can help you scent it safely!

4.  Maintain a healthy body weight.

In our culture, this can be a challenge.  We sit and drive instead of walk, we take elevators instead of the stairs, and overall, are very immobile.   Since we are in a hurry, we do what we can to save time.

Saving time by skipping exercise, however, can be very counter-productive.  According to Dr. Mercola, “A 16-year long study published in 2003 that included more than 900,000 Americans found that obese participants were more likely to be diagnosed and die from cancer, compared to those of normal weight.”

You don’t need to look so thin that you look unhealthy.  In addition, you need to know what is healthy for you.  Not every lady in America should weight 125 pounds.  You need to take into consideration your height as well as your build.

5.  Get enough sleep.

As you become busy with life, work, family, and other responsibilities, and “easy” way to get more done can be to skimp on sleep.

You must remember that when you sleep, your body repairs itself.   One breast cancer patient (now survivor – Praise God!) shared with me that she believes she was suffering from cancer because she allowed her body to be so run down.  According to this article, she is correct.

Although it may not be the socially acceptable thing to get rest instead of filling your day with more busy work and endless activities, getting rest is definitely healthy.

Of course, this list is not all-inclusive.  I trust that I gave you some food for thought!  Which change will you make first?

3 reasons you keep getting colds | #immunity #sugar #nutrition

Fall is officially here, and with fall, colds.  If you are tired of someone or other having a cold in your family, keep reading! When you are suffering with a cold, you feel horrible with aches, pains, and possibly a fever.  You need an endless supply of tissues.  Then, if that were not bad enough, your nose is raw from blowing it so much!  Your head feels as though it’s ready to explode.  You are short with your family.

In addition, you are missing work when you feel under the weather.  You can’t be in home at peace because you are dreading catching up on everything when you return to work.

It’s a frustrating way to live!  Here are three reasons you may be catching every cold that goes around:

1.  You are washing your hands with anti-bacterial soap.

Ok, soap already is supposed to kill germs, right?  So why on earth do you need anti-bacterial soap?  Isn’t that like saying “whitening bleach”?

As a matter of fact, anti-bacterial soap is harmful for you.  The FDA never approved it for use (source).

This kind of soap actually dries your hands out.  What does it mean when your hands are dry?  Your skin is your number one defense against germs, and when it is dry, it cannot protect you against germs.

2.  You are not receiving proper nutrition.

First of all, if you are eating processed food, you cannot get nutrition from fast food and processed food.  You may say, “Luba, I eat fruits, vegetables, and other whole foods.  I have to be receiving all the nutrition I need!”

First of all, great job for eating well.  Second, I eat almost all organic food, and I can still tell my body is not receiving proper nutrition from the food.

You see, God commanded farmers back in the Old Testament that they were to allow the land to rest every seven years.  This was not just a command God made up.  When the land rests, the nutrition is replenished.  Do you know any farmers that let their land rest?

Also, Dr. Mercola says, “Generations of farming reliant on the use of chemicals has rendered American farm ground sterile and literally lifeless, unable to hold either nutrients or water, a problem the U.N. says is a grave threat to human health.”

As you can see plainly, your food is not giving you much nutrition at all.

3.  You consume large amounts of sugar.

Sugar, although it can taste good, has zero nutritional value.  It’s just empty calories.  (source)

What is very concerning, though, is that sugar feeds disease, including the common cold.  The average adult in the USA eats 135 pounds of sugar per year.  (source)  Is it any wonder that colds are so common, and why our nation as a whole is chronically ill?

Sugar also gives you an energy high; then a crash.  When you are tired, you are more prone to illness as well!

If you are tired of missing work, time with your children, and many other important engagements, I know how you feel.  A simple cold used to keep me down for one to three weeks–at the least.  Now within a couple of days at the most, I feel so much better.

If you are ready to prepare your body to feel better this winter and not suffer with low immunity issues, let’s talk.  I’d love to hear your story, hear how colds are affecting your life, and give you some recommendations that have worked really well for me.  Just email me here now, and I’ll get back to you soon to schedule a time to chat.

Have a beautiful day!

5 Activities That Joint Issues Hamper http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/09/19/5-activities-that-joint-issues-hamper/ http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/09/19/5-activities-that-joint-issues-hamper/#respond Tue, 19 Sep 2017 18:09:45 +0000 http://www.healthywithluba.com/?p=1282 + Read More]]>

As someone who suffers from joint issues, do you cringe at the thought of cooler weather?

Yes, the rain, snow, and frigid temperatures can turn a painful situation into an unbearable one.

As someone who has struggled with joint issues herself (and still working on maintaining my joints every single day), I can relate to those who are in constant pain.

Here are five day-to-day activities that can become very difficult when you are in constant pain:

1.  Sleeping at night

When your back feels stiff as a board and your knees are in terrible pain, it’s difficult to get a good night’s rest.  You toss and turn all night because you are trying in vain to find a position that feels comfortable.  In turn, you can’t function well in the morning because you wish you were still in bed.

2.  Playing a musical instrument

When your fingers are in pain, the joy of playing a musical instrument can quickly become a nightmare or an impossible task.  If you love music as much as I do, not being able to play an instrument any longer could be devastating.

Think of all the hours you have practiced and the joy you experienced as you created music.  All that is now a memory of the past.

3.  Hiking

You used to enjoy hiking in nature, but since you are suffering from joint issues, you miss the beauty of the outdoors.  If you do go, your pain levels keep you from hiking for any length of time.  You feel embarrassed because you keep family and friends from enjoying a long hike due to your health issues.

In addition, you miss out on social gatherings outdoors just because it is difficult for you to move around so much.  It’s easier to stay home than to reveal to loved ones how much pain you are truly in.

4.  Typing.

In today’s culture, we rely on computers and typing for many daily activities, such as paying bills, keeping in touch with family via email and social media, and checking the weather in the morning.

If the joints in your fingers are stiff, life becomes frustrating because even staying in touch with loved ones is a very cumbersome task.

5.  Cleaning

Everyone enjoys a clean house to live in.  However, if you are limited in stretching, bending, and reaching, basic household tasks become overwhelming.

Your level of independence is significantly decreased because you need to rely on someone else to sweep, mop, and wash dishes for you.

If you have been struggling with joint pain, I personally know how painful that can be.  My husband and I both deal with it on a daily basis.  Gratefully, we have learned how to take care of our joints naturally without any side effects.  Within a couple weeks, we felt significantly better.

If you are ready to live a more normal life and have a great range of motion, let’s connect for a short call so that I can learn more about what your struggles with your joints are.  Then, I can recommend some natural remedies that I personally use.

All you need to do is email me here, and I will reach out to you to schedule a short call.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Abandoned http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/09/12/abandoned/ http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/09/12/abandoned/#respond Tue, 12 Sep 2017 16:54:18 +0000 http://www.healthywithluba.com/?p=1136 + Read More]]> Abandoned

Have you ever seen a house that was abandoned–or looked like it was?  Its roof may be missing some shingles, the paint may be peeling off its exterior, the interior is dusty–you get the picture.

Now imagine a person who wants to purchase this home.  Instead of seeing the peeling paint, the dust, and the dirt–this person sees a house that can be transformed.  So what does she do?

First of all, she hangs up beautiful family pictures.  Think of the memories her family and friends can view every time they look at the walls!  What better decoration can there be than family photos, right?

Next, this talented lady tastefully uses her floral arrangement skills to make a beautiful centerpiece for her coffee table.  The flowers smell beautiful and add some refreshing color to the home!  Isn’t it a beautiful sight to walk into someone’s home and see flowers?  Her guests and family will definitely love this!

You know what?  She is so industrious that she does not stop at family photos and floral arrangements.  She adds a beautiful bowl of fresh strawberries to her kitchen table.  They add even more color to her home, and her family knows they can have a healthy snack at any time.

Can’t you already feel how comfortable and clean this home will be?  Well, this lady does not stop there!  She adds a clean, fresh welcome mat right outside the front door.  Most of the dirt tracked in via shoes will be eliminated now.  Her home is on its way to being one of the prettiest on the block, right?

What?  You don’t think so?  Well, of course not.  It was very industrious of this new home owner to put all that work into her new home.  However, the first thing that needed to be done was a good cleaning.

The dust, dirt, and dead insects needed to be removed from the home first.  Then, a good scrubbing would freshen up the place even more.  Next, she could paint the walls, if need be.  Only after that would she move in new furniture and add flowers.

Now you are thinking – what on earth does this have to do with my health?  This is not a home improvement newsletter.

Well, I am so glad you asked!  You see, when people want to be healthier, they usually start eating more salads, fruits, and vegetables (like the homeowner adding new furniture, welcome mat, and flowers).  However, all the many years of eating unhealthy are still inside them–the reason for fatigue, low immunity, and many other health issues.  They need to get rid of the dust and dirt of toxic processed food, junk food, toxic cleaners, air fresheners, and fast food that has accumulated over many, many years.  Then they can add proper nutrition, good bacteria, and immune support.

That is exactly what I help women do.  It’s a detox as simple as drinking a glass of water, and this is what I have been doing myself since 2013–every day.  It has made such a huge difference in how I feel.

If you are ready to get rid of toxins in your body and begin feeling better, email me right here.  I would love to hear how you are feeling, where you would like to make an improvement, and make recommendation specific for YOU.

Email me here right now, and I will reply to you in 24 hours to set up a 30-minute chat on the phone or Skype.

I look forward to serving you!

Three Reasons to Begin Taking Care of Your Health Now! http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/08/28/three-reasons-to-begin-taking-care-of-your-health-now/ http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/08/28/three-reasons-to-begin-taking-care-of-your-health-now/#respond Tue, 29 Aug 2017 02:30:04 +0000 http://www.healthywithluba.com/?p=823 + Read More]]>

“Life happens,” and it’s easy to put your health at a lower priority when your body isn’t necessarily in crisis mode.  However, taking care of your body before your health becomes a crisis is the way to avoid much pain and suffering.

Here are a few reasons to take care of your health now!

1.  You have only one body which is deteriorating already.

Have you noticed that your joints may becoming more stiff, you don’t have as much energy as you do, and it takes a little more effort to climb a mountain or go hiking?

Have you met anyone who says that as they age, they feel much better?  Most people do not.  As a matter of fact, people are beginning to have health issues at much, much younger ages.

My home economics teacher in middle school asked us what the best way to clean up a mess in the kitchen.  We all offered good answers, such as a cleaner and a rag, a sponge, possibly a broom.  Wisely, she told us that the best way to clean up a mess is not to make one in the first place.  Likewise, being proactive in your health can save you from lots of headaches in the future.

In addition, think of financial planning and estate planning.  People begin planning for their retirement early in life.  Most people are not waiting til they are in their late fifties or early sixties to retire.  Is retirement right around the corner for someone in their thirties?  Certainly not, yet people begin thinking about their retirement years that early.  How much better would you feel if you began taking care of your health right now with some natural remedies?

My husband and I both feel so much better than we did a decade ago thanks to lifestyle changes we have made and natural remedies we use consistently!  Our joints feel better, our eyes work better, and we are hardly ever under the weather!

2. Each medication you take, or will need to take in the future, will have side effects that can lead to more medication–and more side effects . . . .

Do you take medication?  I challenge you to get out your prescriptions and see what the side effects are.  Once a doctor gave me a prescription for sinus issues.  The side effects were drowsiness, yet I was supposed to take this in the morning.  Well, how could I safely drive to work if I were taking this prescription?  I paid for it but did not take it.

One of my clients works with medical records, and she was appalled at how many medications some people were taken daily!  It was multiple pages for just one person.  Why is this?  Medication A causes side effect B, which means that medication C must be taken to combat those side effects–and it’s a never-ending cycle.

What I love about natural remedies is that there are not side effects.  If you take natural remedies for your digestive issues, you do not have to work about dying from a stroke.

3. Medical bills are extremely expensive.

Have you ever stayed in a hospital?  If you did, I really hope you had health insurance because hospital bills are extremely high and add up very quickly.

A realtor friend of mine recently sold two homes, and the experience was very emotional for her for this reason:  the children were selling their parents’ homes to pay for their parents’ medical bills.  Isn’t that heart-breaking?  Think of the memories those families have in those homes.  They are all gone.  To make matters worse, those dear people lost the place where they lived.

That is the astronomical price of medical bills.  Selling a home to pay for treatments is such a drastic measure to take, and both these families were taking those measures.

Before a disaster strikes and you are appalled at how serious your medical condition is, it’s so important to take care of your body proactively  The longer you wait, the more damage is being done to your health through pesticides in your food, hormones in your meat, and chemicals from household cleaners.  Let’s chat for a few minutes about what your main health concern is, and I can recommend to you a few options for where to begin taking care of yourself.

Just email me here, and I’ll get back with you within 24 hours to schedule a short chat.  I’ll ask you how long you have been dealing with the health issue, if you are taking any medication for it, and how it’s affecting your every day life.

Talk to you soon!

From personal experience, I know that health naturally deteriorates.  No one’s health gets better by accident or by neglect.  Rather, it is maintained and nurtured by daily care.

The age at which your health begins to suffer depends on many different factors.  That is why I believe it is never too early to begin caring for your health.

Car owners take good care of their cars by insuring them against damage or collisions, washing them regularly, vacuuming out the insides, changing the oil, and making sure there is enough fuel.  Cars are not cheap, and it’s important to keep them running well.  No one wants to or plans to break down on the side of the interstate, get in a collision, or have their car vandalized.

On the other hand, some of the same people that take meticulous care of their cars (or houses, pets, you name it) will neglect their health.  I was one of those people, and I write this article from that perspective.

As a lifestyle trainer, my main job is to raise awareness because that is what I lacked til a few years ago.

Here are four ways I learned almost too late about ruining my health.

1.  Neglect eating fruits and vegetables.

After all, they spoil quickly, require washing and cutting, and aren’t so convenient to have around.  On top of they are not the cheapest foods to buy.  Why buy a pound of strawberries when you can buy those fruit snacks that are on sale and have a rebate on top of that?

Perspective change:  realize that unprocessed foods have the most nutritional value, in spite of what the “nutritional information” on that box of fruit snacks says.

2.  Choose the faster, easier option for eating.

Rather than washing vegetables and chopping them for a salad, you can just stop by a drive thru and get your food–fast and easy.  This fast and easy option can actually turn into a very expensive health disaster in a few years.  Fast food has chemicals in it that make you want to eat more.  You’ll also want to eat more because there is very little nutritional value in that food.  Yes, I know from experience.

Perspective change:  Realize that the time you spend in the kitchen cooking is an investment in your health.  List three long-term benefits of cooking from scratch more often than you are right now.

3.  Consume sugary beverages.

As a former lover and huge consumer of fruit juices, I can tell you how much my blood sugar was affected by them!  I was constantly thirsty because fruit juices often have sugar added to them.  Yes, that is in addition to the natural sugar from the fruit.  My reasoning was that it was healthier than eating a donut.  Well, now I look back and wonder how much healthier it really was, especially when you consider the chemicals added to most commercial juices.

Iced coffee, carbonated beverages, and sports beverages all have sugar in them, and that sugar is very detrimental to your gut and dental health.

Perspective change:  Think of how much extra money you would have for healthy food if you drank good, filtered water instead of sugary drinks.  Your teeth will thank you too!

4.  Clean with harsh chemicals.

When I was a staff member at my alma mater, a girl who came from a home where only natural cleaners were used mixed two chemical cleaners.  Even with a breeze going through that hallway, the smell was unbearable!

Have you considered why your cleaners are labeled as toxic?  And why does a glass cleaner need ammonia in it?  Seriously!  My mirror gets splashed with water and toothpaste and no much else!  Surely it does not take ammonia to clean off toothpaste.

Perspective change:  Realize that you are breathing the chemicals that you are using for cleaning.  In addition, those chemicals are being dumped into the lakes and rivers in your area and farther.

This is just the beginning of the list.  If what I have written to you motivates you to make some positive changes in your life, I’d love to hear from you.  Email me right now using this form, and I will get back to you to schedule a time to chat to see if the work that I do would make sense for you.  During this call, I will listen to your health concerns and will give you a plan to get rid of those concerns naturally.

I look forward to your email!

3 Tips for a Healthy Back to School http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/08/08/3-tips-for-a-healthy-back-to-school/ http://www.healthywithluba.com/2017/08/08/3-tips-for-a-healthy-back-to-school/#respond Tue, 08 Aug 2017 19:52:32 +0000 http://www.healthywithluba.com/?p=643 + Read More]]> Three Tips for a Healthy Back to School

Does back to school mean that you are constantly on the go, causing you to get run down and feeling under the weather?  Worse yet, your children bring germs home, and they are passed around for weeks and months?

Here are a few helpful tips to keep you feeling well and staying productive with the busyness of back to school!

1.  Stay Hydrated.

Since your body is made mostly of water, it’s important to keep drinking water throughout the day.  Be sure it’s not tap water, or you are also drinking lots of unwanted toxins.

Just by staying hydrated you can keep headaches at a minimum.  In addition, your body needs water to help keep your digestive system working properly.  Another important reason to drink water is to flush toxins out of your body.

Here is a quick tip:  if you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated.  How can you make sure you have water with you all day?

2.  Wash your hands often.

Think of the door knob that you just touched.  Who knows how many people before you touched it and sneezed in their hands beforehand!  Your keys, money, light switches, escalators, elevator buttons, and many other objects that you touch daily have germs galore on them.  You don’t want to be preparing food, eating your meal, or playing with a baby when your hands have touched these germ-filled objects!

Quick tip:  do not use anti-bacterial soap!  It cannot tell the difference between good bacteria and bad bacteria and kills all of it.  In addition, it dries out your hands so that germs can enter your body more easily through your skin.

3.  Make meal planning a priority.

When your leisurely summer schedule turns into a much more structured season with school back in session, it’s easy to eat on the go more than you realize.  When you take some time every week or two weeks to plan your meals, you can stay healthier by being more conscious of what you are putting into your body.

A steady diet of processed foods and fast food is very hard on your digestive system and will not provide your body with the nutrition that you need!

If you need some additional help doing any of the above, just email me here right away, and we will set up a time to discover what your top concern is with your health right now and make a plan for you to get rid of that problem without any side effects.

Talk to you soon!

As someone who has experienced extreme fatigue, I can relate to you if you are exhausted.  I could not drink any caffeinated beverages due to my acute sensitivity to caffeine and left only half alive at times, even after ten or twelve hours of sleep.  Gratefully, all that changed when I began taking proper care of my health!  Now I can wake up early to see my husband off to work; four years ago, I was struggling to wake up at 10 or 11 am sometimes.  It’s such a blessing to feel this difference!

Recently my husband, who works hard physically, went on a business trip where he worked twelve-hour days.  When he came home, he looked exhausted.  Very nonchalantly, I asked if he had taken his super food.  He looked at me very kindly and said nothing.  It was then that I realized that I forgot to pack it for him!  Next week, I made it a point to pack his super food, and he came back home much more refreshed in body and spirit!  It was a night and day difference!

Does fall usually mean that you are feeling under the weather more often than you would care to admit? Is the changing of the seasons hard for you?

If so, I know how you feel. Fall was a difficult time because my leisurely summer schedule quickly became much more hectic, and I was around many, many more germs at school or college than I was at home.

Yes, it’s only the beginning of August. However, the best way to take care of yourself is pro-actively, not re-actively. Here are a few tips for you to enjoy this fall season to the fullest:

1. Be sure to get enough sleep.

Yes, when there are so many exciting activities competing for your attention, it is very easy to move sleep from priority #1 to priority #49. However, when you do not get enough sleep, your immunity suffers, your decision making skills are impaired, and your relationships suffer (does anyone else become impatient when you are sleep deprived?). In addition, your productivity at work suffers too. I know this from personal experience!

If every night of your week has an activity, and you are getting home at 9 or 10 pm, it will take its toll on you very fast. I’ve learned this the hard way myself. Some activities and institutions to which I thought I was indispensable do not exist anymore, and I almost worked myself to death on their behalf.

2. Substitute sugar for honey.

While sugar can be so tempting to eat (one reason is that it is in numerous foods in various forms), it is addicting and very harmful to your health. It lowers your immunity, prolongs illness, and causes those unwanted cavities, which mean those dreaded visits to the dentist.

Sugar seems like a great go-to when you are tired and need a quick energy fix. However, that quick energy fix later turns into a crash, which means you need more sugar. It’s a never-ending cycle. I know because I’ve been there too.

On the other hand, honey is much sweeter than sugar, and you do not need much of it to satisfy a sweet tooth. Please be warned that much of the honey in stores is fake, boiled, and has sugar or high fructose added to it.

3. Take care of your immunity.

If you begin soon to boost your immunity, you will thank yourself when the weather begins to change and even more when the cold winter months come. Again, being pro-active rather than reactive is always the best route to choose. Missing work, time with your children, and church services all happen when you are under the weather. When you feel like a burden to other people, the misery is doubled or even tripled!

If you would like some additional tips and natural remedies for any of the above, let’s chat! I love helping people because I know exactly how it feels to be miserably under the weather, sleep-deprived, and addicted to sugar. A few lifestyle changes can go far in making you feel so much better.

Email me right away using this form (or reply to this email), and we’ll talk soon to see if what I do is a fit for you. In order to make a recommendation for you, I need to know your specific needs as well as any dietary restrictions, and we will cover all this and more on the call. I am making a change in my business from coaching to consulting with natural remedies, and I am very excited to serve you and many others like you!

Sending you many blessings,
